Cassondra Kurtz is the Founder of Beyond the Beard and has over 13 years experience as a Master Barber. She specializes in beard trims, as well as the traditional hot towel shave, and happily boasts a diverse clientele that has included names such as Martin Sheen, Russell Crowe, Noah Schnapp, and more.

With the goal to create a third space for others, Cassondra's relationships don't stop after they've left the chair. She regularly hosts classes, client appreciation happy hours, and annual fundraisers to make this mission become a reality.

Her joy comes from volunteerism, community and the act of making others feel better than they did before sitting in her chair.

Sheldon Marcelle is a NYS Licensed Master Barber and educator.

Sheldon has been a Master Barber for 8 years and the lead trainer for C.O. Bigelow Apothecaries and Proraso for the last 10 years.

He has honed his craft by specializing in traditional Straight Razor Shaves and has also focused his skills on Beard care.

Chec is NYS licensed master barber and has over 10 years of experience. Starting out in his college dorm, he made his way to the South Bronx where he cut for two and a half years, he then opened his first salon suite in Midtown Manhattan where he spent three years and circled back to The Bronx where he now cuts in the Riverdale area as well.

With strengths in skin fades, waves, beard trims and line work - Chec is able to provide any service for anyone who walks through the door. His main goal is not just executing what the clients ask for, but guaranteeing that they feel their best once they step off the chair!

Chiki is 15.5 and Teeny was almost 11! These gals have seen * a lot * of haircuts and beard trims so rest assured they know exactly what to look for. Alternatively, you can buy their approval with a snack or butt rub.
